Almanah Hope Foundation was conceived by Hope Nwakwesi, a widow turned empowerment activist, who transformed her personal pain into a purpose-driven mission to support and uplift other widows in Nigeria and Africa at large.
With a deep understanding of the challenges faced by widows, Mrs Hope with the encouragement of her trustees founded Almanah Hope Foundation to provide a supportive community and essential resources for these women.

Her journey began with a personal experience of loss and struggle, which sparked a desire to make a difference and change the narrative. Through extensive research, community engagement, and collaboration with experts, Mrs Hope developed a comprehensive approach to addressing the multifaceted needs of widows.
